Canson Baryta Prestige II 340gsm **TIPA WINNER**
The Canson Baryta Prestige II 340gsm paper is certain to set a new benchmark for quality fine art inkjet. Featuring a true barium sulphate layer (baryta) combined with a cotton rag, natural white and acid-free, alpha-cellulose base, this paper emulates the traditional heavyweight baryta papers of the past. OBA-free, it is designed to attain a very high D-Max (maximum black tones) and wide colour gamut, Canson Prestige ii is perfectly matched for printing on the Epson Surecolor range of printers, which also attain a very high D-Max. In addition, most quality inkjet photo printers from Canon and Epson will produce superior results when used with this paper. The dot gain (degree of which the ink droplet grows when in contact with the paper) has also been reduced too so that image sharpness is also vastly improved. It's D-Max and wide colour gamut, make it suitable for both colour and black & white photographs and with its unique lay-flat technology, low gloss and almost totally smooth surface, what is there not like about Canson Baryta Prestige 340gsm? It is also a true FSC certified paper meaning that its wood pulp comes from forests that are registered with the Forest Stewardship Council® and are harvested in a renewable and environmentally controlled way.
Currently available in Sheet and 24" Roll form. As it is a premium-weight paper, we would recommend using the straight-through print path found on most Epson desktop printers. However, many customers report that it prints well for them from the regular paper feeder.
